LICMJ
Why elbow your way through sweltering crowds of kids from Oberlin, Ithaca, and College Station this week on Bedford and Houston for shows you probably won't even be able to get into? For your edification, LIC has skimmed the cream of touring and local acts in town this week and crammed them into the most intimate venues around for five bucks or less per night. We've got folks from California, Brooklyn, and Denmark; bands from Tokyo were even clawing at the door, but had to be turned away due to lack of bill space. Enjoy this glut while you can... there's never in history been this many bands of this caliber playing Queens in one week, I'm willing to wager.
